This workshop will draw on the theory and practice of different techniques for using dreams with clients. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a working knowledge of the language of dreams and how to facilitate healing, integration and transformation using the client’s dreams. Theory will draw on Jungian and transpersonal approaches.
Requirements for attendance at the Workshop:
Competency in counselling micro-skills is mandatory in order to attend. Without a basic working (applied) knowledge of micro-skills, attendees will be unable to complete dreamwork exercises. For current counselling students this just means that you have successfully completed a basic counselling skills unit that has had practical components.
Participants must also keep a dream journal for a minimum of one week anytime prior to the workshop, and must bring at least three dreams to ‘work on’ during the day. Without bringing three dreams, attendees will be unable to participate in the group learning activities.
Confidentiality boundaries will be in place for safety. Attendees are invited to share as much of themselves as is comfortable in order to create an experiential learning environment. If all of the above is agreeable to you, please fill out the form below and return to Benjamin via firstname.lastname@example.org
After submitting the form, payment instructions will be sent to you. After a deposit of $30 is received, your place in the workshop will be secure. The deposit is non refundable (unless the workshop is cancelled, in which case you will be fully refunded).
