Meditation

website 2Non Dual Mindfulness Meditation

In the stress and turmoil of our daily lives it can sometimes be difficult to find a refuge, a place where we can find beauty, peace, stillness and repose amidst the chaos that can appear.

By simply moving into an aware, observational state meditation reveals the connection always present between things.  The stress of the goal-seeking mind is expanded to a timeless, eternal consciousness.  In an ultimate sense, meditation results in existential freedom.  In the relative sense, it provides a valuable resource for having a link between our sometimes distracted minds and the reality of stillness underlying it. It helps to integrate change, restore perspective and to face life with grace, dignity and courage.

Active awareness in movement and sitting helps to balance internal energy, provide clarity of mind and integrate change at a psychological and physical level.

The meditation I teach is the most time honoured, tried and tested form handed down the ages from self realised Buddhist masters.

Meditation is particularly useful to learn how to;

* Let go of stress
* Relax
* Gain acceptance
* Create tranquility
* Silence the mind
* Create wisdom in utilising Non-dual and egoic mind states
* Develop concentration

My meditation experience comes from years of daily practice, as well as long, intensive retreats (also from time as a fully ordained Buddhist monk).

I instruct students on a one to one basis. I can also construct a group meditation session for your company or business. Meditation has been proven scientifically to reduce stress, tension, decrease blood pressure, improve digestion and speed healing. It can be practiced by anyone irrespective of age, gender, religion, creed or colour – it is simply a skill that opens a new way of life.
