Holistic or Transpersonal Counselling (latin: trans persona – literally meaning ‘beyond the mask) is a form of holistic therapy which connects us to ourselves and helps us move beyond our limitations.  The transpersonal model is based on awareness and authenticity to our true self (who we really are).

Transpersonal is:
1)  Experiential - Not just talk, experiencing change and accessing  higher human potentials.
2)  Psycho-spiritual – Working holistically, engaging psychological and spiritual dimensions.
3)  Phenomenonlogical - A process experience of change.
4)  A Spectrum of Consciousness – You learn to access new and unique states of consciousness to expand awareness, growth and healing.
5) Client Centred - The therapeutic process is led by whatever arises in the moment- subject to your needs and desires. Insight and meaning in a session comes unconsciously from you in a natural way – the moment contains everything required.  Thus, you own the change and wisdom is taken, ultimately resulting in freedom and independence in therapy.  You also decide what to share, where to go in the session.
